About Us

A brand new Chamber Festival being held for the first time in Victoria, British Columbia during the summer of 2010. The inception of the Festival happened during a reunion of two original members (Frank Chu, piano and Shiori Kobayashi, clarinet) with their newest member (Carole Bestvater, violin) of the Ricordanza Trio in June 2009.

The trio's goal was to create an annual Music Festival for young professional musicians to have a place in which to present unique works for various chamber settings, but did not currently have the means of doing so. This years Festival will be held on July 30th and 31st at Knox Presbyterian Church in Victoria, BC. It will include chamber works for the unique ensemble of the Ricordanza Trio, as well as a Quartet for Voice, Violin, Clarinet and Piano and duo's of all combinations.
